I had the chance this past week to visit an amazing Italian restaurant, if your a local or just visiting the orlando area this is a must eat! Its located at 6327 Orange Ave, Orlando, FL, 32809. Check out their amazing menu and give it a try! I give this place a two thumbs up, for their amazing food and modern vibe.

book of the month

This month's book recommendation is Eat Pray Love. I give it two thumbs up! Elizabeth Gilbert's  work is phenomenal. It's one woman's journey to "find herself" along with finding herself comes many life lessons to any reader! Elizabeth puts her current life on hold to go on a year long trip to Italy, India, and Indonesia. With a purpose for each trip, to pleasure her senses, spiritual enlightenment, and life balance. This book is filled with a vibrant array of every emotion. I recommend it to all readers. Hopefully you can take away a small life lesson with this read. Enjoy!

behind the blog name

A little insight behind the name of my blog, Beautiful Bliss. I wanted to create a site that would be beautiful to many different walks of life for various different reasons. I want everyone who comes across this site to take away some insight, whether it be something that brightens your day or something that brings light to an area of darkness in your life. When i sat and thought of what i was going to name this blog, the words beautiful and bliss came to mind. the definitions of the two words:

beautiful: having qualities of beauty, exciting aesthetic pleasure

bliss: complete happiness

When i searched the web for images of beautiful and bliss here are some that happened to capture my eye:

I feel that at some point in your life you deserve to feel beautiful, flawed and all. You deserve to feel bliss, complete happiness. My job as the writer of this blog is to bring light to these two words in hopes that you will one day feel their very meaning. Life's too short to be anything but happy and the most beautiful people are the happiest people!

It takes a lot of courage to be who you truly are in a world full of so many different people. Be selfless and be a lending hand to someone who can give you nothing in return. Understand that everyone is facing a different battle that you may not know about. So be the change in the world that you wish to see, and the world you see will change!

A little food for thought for this mid Wednesday. As we all know our life's can change in a blink of an eye and be completely turned upside down whether it's in our control or not. So take chances, be brave. Do something you've never done before even if it scares you, because you never know how it will change your life. But then again never know when your life will change.
